Meatless month is up!

it;s been fun. i feel a whole lot healthier & proud that i can handle my dependency on eating animals. but i cant give it up forever, you kidding me? hahaha. it was somethin i wanted to experience. it's mosdef not a neccessity for every meal now. was easier than i thought, mostly because i didn't rule out seafood--& my mom didnt cook any meat at home (because she said she wouldve felt bad & didnt want to "tempt" me), talk about spoileddddd! i didnt make her do it. i told her it isnt a challenge if she was helping out so much!

me&my sis were constantly being yelled at while we were working for mi madre today at the coffee shop. there were plenty moments where she would just scoff and say let me do it. hahah sorry mum. WE TRY!

i asked friends and such to stop by today but there wasn't much of a turnout. thanks, haters! you guys are missing out on some bombass traditional homemade vietnamese cuisinee. i'll take the hater comment back once you folks come through. several of my sister's coworkers came by to eat, as well as my homie sal and his friend marissa. muchos gracias guys! hope you enjoyed the food.

i'll let you other kids know when im working next to ease the intimidation of coming in by yourself.

my friend gets annoyed when i talk about how i feel 'independent'. but when it comes down to it, i'm still livin at home & will always be a mama's girl. she really did say this by the way.

it only takes one cough/one sneeze whatever to get my mum to panic.

this is how she is every time i'm sick. whether it's minor allergies or a hardcore cold. today she called my sis (in:sacramento) to check up on me because she couldn't reach me at home.

this actually goes for several of my aunts too. all their birthdays roll around mother's day too.

that's what happens when your mother is the best cook. especially if you drop off flowers at her coffee shop. which were thrashed by the way, because i was having the most trouble holding it while biking. i did that last year too. hmm guess i never learn.

for class we had to redesign the menus of our favorite restaurants. so i did my mom's coffee shop. i neverr go anywhere else for vietnamese food. she is the best cook everrrrr. and i'm not saying it just cause she gave me life.

before she would have a dry erase board but it was all in vietnamese. so it was hard for the non-regulars to order anything besides sandwiches.
