My sister's etsy!

my sister has been on a crafting rampage; and we've all convinced her to start an etsy account to really get her on the grind. yours truly is helping her with the site! just call me manager ;) support the nguyen family and get yourself something she handmade/sewn herself. her latest creations include these fluffy goodness we callin phone cozies!

she also painstakingly (i heard her shout from my room after busting her finger) made some lovely earrings as well.

Mengbow!

i wore a bow not too long ago and my sister wanted to up my bow game by making her own. so one day i came home to see a meng-bow sitting in my room for me. thank you big sis, i love all your creations.

anyway, here's the shirt we were talking about. my sleeves were getting pretty worn out, so my seester chopped them off and sewed them back onto the collar for some ruffle action!

scarf was from my special bffffffriend! it was a christmas gift and made with loveee. it was his first try and everything :) he keeps me fitted!

this was my sister's first try at making a hat too. she made this shortly after i lost my baby back in december. then i fell back in love with this one. she got the furry part from an old pillow. i can button it to my face too. what fashion and function! thanksss again!

Sweet bag!

i haven't been writing posts on my sister's creations because i just can't keep up! she has not skipped a beat--she is still making plenty wonders! last time i checked she had a box full of little purses/make-up bags.


what i did get to grab to document was this lil pencil case she made from a delightful fabric--with plastic for a window. i cant stand how crafty she is! she should be creating a site very soon; that includes the option to purchase her babies! for time being click on the mong tag for all posts pertaining to mi lovely seeester :)

i came home one day to find this lil guy sitting in my room.

my sister has seriously not stopped making all sorts of wonders with her sewing machine. she got alottalotta fabrics from all of us on christmas and they are not going to waste!

im not really big on stuffed animals, but this elephant has a special plate in my heart. and on my desk :) thanks chi ba.

my sister made another lil pouch. this time with a thicker fabric charles provided; which is great since it was for him anyway.

she said it's her best one yet. kudos sis!

Slice of life.

my sis&charles made amazingly scrumptious pumpkin pies entirely from scratch. i only made it to roll the dough.

Another wonder!

my sis is on a neverending quest to cut and sew whenever and whatever she can. here's another one of her crafty babies--added to my collection of course :) this bloodline has perks!

So sew sister!

she has been constantly pumpin out nifty crafty things from all these classes she's been taking on the side (of being a nurse--she's never too busy!) &i'm usually the output of her samples. which is fine by me, more stuff for me! :)

1. i had a tear in my tank top and she sewed the outsides, a technique she learned for making openings for buttons. so now it's a cute hole!

2. i lost my wallet, the one that she made me too..so she made me another one. she used a piece of a reusable bag we got in hawaii.


3. just a little pouch she made; she said the material isn't very good, but it's holding up quite nicely. she did the zipper too! i throw my wallet/ipod/chapstick in this baby.

so i mentioned somethin bout laptop covers to my sister and boom; next day i find this bugger on my desk! snug fit with foam interior and everything. she is on a roll. thanks sis :)



and all made from a jersey too!

Sister stitches.

my sister has been on a creative spree this past weekend. along with a couple aprons, scarves, and mini outfits, she made these little wonders. a map/magazine clipping, fabric, some plastic (from a photo album cover) and a sewing machine later:

my sister is taking a printing/typesetting class and she used my logo for one of her projects :) talk about advertising. haha.
