didn't have school or work on saturday; and it was real sunny out too! i biked to the post office to pick up a package my cousin from georgia had sent me. rode to embarcadero right beneath the bow&arrow sculpture to open it there. brought my new trusty mini notebook with me. and mid-through drawing, i realized a ladybug landed right on my leg. little bugger stayed there for awhile too.

so im way past the 3digit mark of being overseas. excuse the lack of updates. its been quite hectic with all the fam that came to visit. it's my sister + her boyfriend this time. we've already went to barcelona/spain and we've just arrived in basel/switzerland. zürich tomorrow for two days, back to london for another few, and then i'll be home in no time!

Best sketching models ever.

i realized that the best sketching models are statues hahahah; i loved drawing in the museum. there were so many subjects to choose from. i got so caught up i didnt even notice the time go by. there were a lot of other people sketching as well, had all their supplies with them and everything. ill be better prepared next time.

ps. i finally got a working scanner! so heads up on comics coming.

Bored nephew.

so my nephew stayed over for a couple days last week. since everybody else was busy and he didnt want to be stuck with my mom at the shop, he tagged along with me to school. hahahh turns out he wanted to be anywhere but there! now you know exactly how i feel kid! lecture was pretty droney..i fell asleep a couple times. he wanted to but the desks were too small for him so he couldnt get comfy. hahah! whats funnier is that he had to participate in the group activities.

14yearold had a fresh taste of college.

New york; superblog!

i took almost 1000 pics on my trip; about 100+ a day; and i was there for 8. it was hard sifting through, id show them all if i could but my comp would probably blow up. anyway, a lot of things happened in ny, i can tell stories for days. so i'll just bullet point them:
1/ my chinese vocabulary went skyhigh since the homies i hung out with speak it.
2/ went to the museum of arts&design + american museum of natural history.
3/ had cupcakes big and small. (crumbs bakery/baked by melissa)
4/ played rockband for a crowd at a bar. (doghouse saloon)
5/ almost got left by my friends. (diff days&many times)
6/ ferry'd around; george the tourguide was amazing.
7/ central park. twas a nice walk. wouldve been nicer if i could read the map.
8/ met alot of cool people. (esp. folks from bbc & supreme! :D )
9/ spenttoomuchmoney $$$ all i did was SHOP + EAT.
10/realized what a small world this is; i met people who share mutual friends as moi!
11/shake shack > in&out. sorry.
12/i know i shouldnt have but i gave wrong directions to a lady.
13/a guy tried to hustle me into buying a 15$ sweater for 25$. im not dumb.
14/had a lifestory convo with a vietnamese cab driver, in vietnamese!
15/new york has a lot of eyecandy :)
16/did my laundry at 1am at a local laundromat.
17/MISSEDMYFLIGHTONTHEWAYBACKTOSF&had to transfer@LAX. lame.
