this was my final for my animation II class. we had to find sound effects and create an animation that pairs well with it, and i ended up going this direction. hope you like it :)

Careers in animation.

animators, voice-over directors, producers, computer-riggers, game designers, imagineer. im in a room with very experienced and talented people right meow. im at a panel discussion on careers in animation at school on this fine sunday afternoon. a few of these folks are graduates from sfsu too :) getting pretty inspired + motivated with all the information/advice they're givin us on hiring, reels, resumes, and all that good stuff!

a quick animation i did for class. we were assigned to animate an element, and since the paper i did back in the beginning of the semester incorporated wind, i chose water for this one. i cant help but play my animations over and over and just laugh. oh you poor hilarious mushroom. i hope you enjoy it as much as i do. i posted this awhile ago but totally forgot about it!

felt silly makin this since i did it on my own: alone on a cold night, camera on self timer, and makin myself pose in awkward position after awkward position. but still had fun tho. cheers to blowin--

Metamorphosis animation!

i dreaded this assignment at first because trying to make him run in the beginning was taking soooo long--but i had a lot fun making all the transitions after that. especially since i had my cousin give me his input and he was able to watch my process of his ideas come to life ;) thanks homie!

HER FIRST STEPS!

i'm still trying to get a hang of this animation thing so gimme a break! here's my first attempt at a walk cycle, using yours truly as a character :) it gets a little jumpy at times, but for the most party im enjoyin this. hope you do too!

Animation society!

just a tad bummed out my logo didnt get picked for our tees to rep the animation society, this sweet club im in for animators at school. but whatevs, im still diggin it on my own. the one that got the most votes was pretty rad too so im not trippin :)

also, we;ll be using this number for other things so not all is lost :)

I'm gettin paperrrr.

we had to animate a light object for class so i chose a piece of paper. we had to draw every frame and take a picture of each one. this took about 45 drawings. the camera angle is a little off but you get the point :)

never touched dreamweaver before. this is what we did in my web design class today. aint amazing but its a start. hahah what a topnotch website! so prooooo huh?

my keyboard would not work with me tho. the at sign doesnt work and its at a weird place, where the double quotes are supposed to be. my zs type ys so im constantly editing this as i type ahha man im switchin comps next week. its already a bummer using pcs already--no offense ;)

School schmool.

its so easy to get sidetracked. lucky tomorra's my last day. gotta cram for a final and finish all these dang assignments. i update this blog more than i do my class blog. (hahahh or maybe ive been updating this blog because i don't want to update my class blog.)

what else do you expect from a four hour lecture class? AND it's during the summer! no offense, professor.

i never thought this day would come! this felt like the longestttttsemestereverinthehistoryofsemesters. i am so glad school's out. haven't been able to get on this in awhile. i was literally swamped in projects. stayed up till 6am last night (or i guess this morning), took me almost 2 hrs to get home from the library.

anyway, im back in the game! be ready for daily postings suckas :)

teacher finally handed back our first projects in relief printmaking today. im not that big on groupwork, especially in art classes cause people butt heads all the time. i liked how it turned out though.

our concept was pretty simple; night and day ish. mine is the middle :)
