hung out with some cool folks that suggested a few uk hip hop artists to check out. lesse if theyre any good! :) i been tryin to get a feel of the music here but ive been hearing only american stuff lately!

much thanks as usual caz! it was kinda cool helpin at the door. feelin muy importante! hahah even though i was drawing most of the time. the bands were a great listen; sweet wednesday night jammin.

Damn gorillaz!

i saw them last week; and woooooow. they put on such an amazing show. there was so much energy in the arena; everybody was jumping and dancing the entire time. you can just feel the music! it was probably one of the best concerts ive ever been to :) ughhh i loved it!

so ive been tryin to exercise more. with no membership/workout buddy, motivation to actually do anything is tough. but once im out on the street with my music, im off running easy. i get tired but the next song can pump me right back up.

the day before yesterday + the day before that. each corner/display/artwork/typeface is supposed to represent a particular era/theme/etc. down to the very detail. made from their raw hands. ♥!

i had a sneak peek of the place yesterday (thanks, ariel) &i'm headin there in a bit. the spot is beautifulllllll. i love everything about it. immense thought &work put into it.

Seriously can't get enough*

tonight probably marks the fifth time i've seen N*E*R*D in concert. clipse was supposed to open up for them, but they didn't show up. so flipsyde performed instead. they were kinda ehh.












i was getting demolished in there. it didn't matter i was small, and a girl at that, guys twice as big/tall were smashing against me & wouldn't budge for me to get through. it was rough!

but they were killin it! they put up a crazy show, as usual.

Bloc Party!

didn't know i was going until right before leaving for berkeley! didn't know any of the words but their music kept us pumped! my friend and i worked our way to the front while my sis & her bf stayed back. espiritu helped me crowdsurfed for a sec; till the crowd dropped me promptly.












still sore from the abuse of the fans, but still worth it!
bloc party definitely doesn't disappoint.
