Who draws on clothes anymore?

i got an ugly black burn mark on my favorite pair of shorts somehow. too torn to throw them away, i just drew a flower to play it off. ta-da! i can keep wearing these babies. hahah talk about a quick fix.

made me think about how awesome it was to draw on your clothes. i remember when a whole mess of girls had their friends' names tagged all over their jeans in high school. or the tee that everyone wrote on at the end of the school year :)

i probably called everybody when i lost it. my cousin; my friend; since i was at both their houses, i even called the restaurant i had dinner at. cancelled my cards and everything. i was feeling like blaaaaaahhhhhhh not again! ive lost several wallets already. never got any of them back.

she slipped it into my mailslot with a note included. thank you sooooo much raquel! you have no idea how much this meant! saved me a whole lotta trouble. you are amazing!

ive told a couple friends what happened and they all shared stories of acts of kindness/safe arrivals with their misplaced belongings. do you have one? :) i love good karma.

so my nephew stayed over for a couple days last week. since everybody else was busy and he didnt want to be stuck with my mom at the shop, he tagged along with me to school. hahahh turns out he wanted to be anywhere but there! now you know exactly how i feel kid! lecture was pretty droney..i fell asleep a couple times. he wanted to but the desks were too small for him so he couldnt get comfy. hahah! whats funnier is that he had to participate in the group activities.

14yearold had a fresh taste of college.

haa damn, i just realized i cant spell. anyway, tonight was a quiet july 4th. im usually out of town for the holidays but stayin home and stayin in this year. the cousins arent well enough for the drive + my sister has work, so i decided not to call off work for the time&ahalfpay.

it was weird not to be with the fam. i am most definitely not staying home again, no offense san francisco.

Meatless month is up!

it;s been fun. i feel a whole lot healthier & proud that i can handle my dependency on eating animals. but i cant give it up forever, you kidding me? hahaha. it was somethin i wanted to experience. it's mosdef not a neccessity for every meal now. was easier than i thought, mostly because i didn't rule out seafood--& my mom didnt cook any meat at home (because she said she wouldve felt bad & didnt want to "tempt" me), talk about spoileddddd! i didnt make her do it. i told her it isnt a challenge if she was helping out so much!
